This was a split-level home built in 1958 in Fort Hunt, Virginia, near Mount Vernon. We popped up the home to create a primary bedroom suite, and added a kitchen and roof deck on the back of the home to keep with the split-level and modern aesthetic.
We designed this sprawling farmhouse in Middleburg, Virginia to be a retreat from Washington, DC, and peaceful property in the country to relax and enjoy nature. There are lofted ceilings with lots of natural light and large outdoor deck.
